There are several types of Annonas that grow around the world in tropical and  subtropical regions.  Here in subtropical south Florida, we grow two of those types on a small commercial scale:

• the atemoya, which is a cross between the trees Annona squamosa and Annona cheimoya

• the sugar apple or sweetsop, Annona squamosa.

Both of these trees produce delicious, delicately flavored fruits that are available  from our growers listed below.

Season: June – September,  some Jan. & Feb.
