Cooking with Caimito?

UF/IFAS Factsheet- for Caimito

The common name of this fruit, star apple, comes from the starlike appearance of the core when the fruit is cut in cross section. This fruit is common in the West Indies, South East Asia and Africa, and there is a small industry here in South Florida. Our growers can send ripe caimitos to you right away!
